In April of 2020, when the world was shut down, one brave sister flew to New York so her brother wouldn’t die alone. Despite New York being ground zero for the Corona Virus in the USA, she braved her way. But when she arrived, her brother said, “I want to live!”

Vicki Mizel was living in rural Oregon and flew to her brother’s bedside when hearing the news that he had Covid 19 and had five days to live. She risked her own life to be in the hospital at the beginning of the pandemic where hundreds of people were dying daily, hoping for a chance to save her brother and help him live.
